HOW DO I REGISTER?
Purchasing a package on MGAWC.com is how you register for the event. It will be painfully obvious how to do this once registration is open.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BORN HAIRY?
The field has shrunk slightly the last few years, so we're capping it at 288 and going back to using the LOIQ (Last Opportunity In Qualification) to give unqualified players a chance to play their way into the field. More on that here.
HOW DO THE PENALTY STROKES WORK?
If you have penalty strokes, they will be added to your score after each round. Your handicap will not change between Round 1 and Round 2.
I'M SO GOOD I HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT DQING.
First off, screw you. If you still want to come and show off, understand that if you break 80 in either round, you will be DQed. Just like normal though, you can still win the Gross Award (and only the Gross Award) if you DQ. The trophy is marginally bigger than the typical keychain cup.
HOW DOES DOUBLE OCCUPANCY WORK?
To get the double occupancy price, you must list a roommate in the notes section when purchasing your package. Your roommate then needs to purchase the same package (in the same tower) and list you as their roommate. Friends forever!! If you forgot to put their name down at checkout, you can give it to us at jon@mgatour.com.

IS THERE A DEPOSIT OPTION THIS YEAR?
There is not. It's a giant pain in the ass chasing people down, so we did away with them (the deposit option, not the people) and updated our refund policy.
